U.S. ARMY DIVER’S REUNION ITINERARY
BACK TO OUR ROOTS IN 2007
Thursday, 2 August
Meet at the Double Tree hospitality room for divers only (first time this year) and have a free refreshing beverage. Check out the communication board (also new this year) and sign up for dinner with some of your diver buddies.
Later on Thursday evening, meet for the 9:30PM Murder Mystery Cruise aboard a Savannah River Boat.
Friday, 3 August
Sleep in and get up in time for an afternoon of bowling at the AMF Victory Lanes in historic Savannah. The golfers will have to rise early for a 8:00 a.m. tee time at Hunter Army Air Field.
The 1st Annual Diver’s Challenge will start today and everyone needs to be ready to attend the 6 PM Friday Night Social at the Double Tree. Walk through the door and pick up this year’s T-shirt, a U.S. Army Diver’s Reunion tradition since 1997.
Saturday, 4 August
Get on the bus in time to be at Fort Screven (our “ROOTS”) for the 1PM picnic. It’s going to be a full afternoon with our guest speaker, the first ever Diver’s auction (you really don’t want to miss this), and the announcement of this year’s raffle winners.
Watch the new comers get their diver’s coin and join in with the traditional singing of the “Rat Song”. Get your T-shirt if you missed it on Friday
Sunday, 5 August
Meet at 9 AM for a great breakfast and the annual General Membership meeting. Nominate and vote on new board members. Make your recommendations for the 2009 Reunion.
Bid a final good-bye to your diving family until the next reunion.
